Who are you inspiring?

TED can be annoyingly inspiring. But so very likeable in a Californian, I’d like to be invited kind of way.
I was on it today, watching the videos, and came across this that was by a guy called Dave Eggers. He’s an amusing orator - seems like he’s had a can or 2 of red-bull before he came onto stage. But his story is incredibly impressive.
His work is essentially around how to harness the goodwill of his community to help some of the less fortunate. He was determined to help the neighbourhood kids with their homework He somehow ended up with a totally wacky pirate store that acts as a ‘front’ for his tutoring centre.
I love his equation: doing your homework = peace on earth.
