Ideas for sending a card mum will adore – Mother’s Day 2013

Touchnote Mother's Day card

In the UK and Ireland, Mother’s Day is on Sunday 10 March 2013. (For other countries, see here)

To help you tell mum how awesome she is, here’s some easy ideas for your card. Just choose your photo, select one of our greetings card themes and add your message to the front and inside. (Or you can leave the front as a plain photo)

Last order date for UK addresses: to arrive by Sat 9, orders need to be placed by Wednesday 6 March 2013 (cards take 1-3 working days)

1. Remind mum of when you were young

We all love our digital cameras, but there’s something unique about old photos. Pro tip: if you don’t have a scanner, try just taking a photo of an old photo!

2. Send a photo of you

I bet mum doesn't get as many photos of you as she used to? And all mums love photos of their kids, whatever their age.

Or you could show her your appreciation like this :-)

Card idea - Thumbs up! Best mum ever!

You and mum together

Nothing shows that you’re wishing her a happy Mother’s Day like a photo of you both.

Dads - help the little one send a card

Touchnote may be easy enough for a 2 year to use, but not all 2 year olds have credit cards… So that means it’s down to you, dad, to thank that mother in the family. You’ve got tons of great photos you could use, or you could just take one now…

That's a very big postcard

Our friends in America have been sending Mother's Day postcards from Samsung Galaxy Note devices and projecting those postcards onto buildings such as the New York Public Library. "I love you mom! Look that building over there proves it."

New York Public Library Projection

In case you're not sure, the Samsung Galaxy Note is the one with a pen that's (to paraphrase) not a phone and not a tablet either. If you have one, you can use the pen to doodle or draw on the front of your Touchnote postcard and then you can hand-write the message on the back. Just download the Touchnote app from Google Play and if you have a Galaxy Note you'll automatically get all the SPen features.
