I can't remember a time when I did not love to draw and paint, and have never stopped. It is my way of expressing what I see and experience.
I love to look at all kinds of Art, from early Renaissance to contemporary. Some of my favourites are Paul Klee, Kandinsky Howard Hocgkin and Rothko, as well as book illustrators such as Kay Neilsson, Edmund Dulac and Charles Heath Robinson. I especially love Indian and Persian paintings for their use of colour and space.
My favourite images that I've done - 'Elephant Journey' and 'Peacocks in Tree'. These are inspired by India.
